How to convert XADES to PDF
- Click “Open a .xades file” at the top of this page and choose your file.
- Wait a moment while the document appears on screen.
- Click “Save as PDF”. The file is saved with its original name.
Is it really a conversion?
Not quite, and that is a good thing. The PDF is stored inside the .xades file unchanged, and we take out exactly the file that was signed. So the saved PDF looks the same as the original, page for page.
When there is no PDF inside
- An XML form, for example an ePUAP letter: we show a readable version that you can print or save.
- A Word file or an image: we save it in its original format.
- Only a signature (the document is a separate file): add the signed file and we check that they match.
